Music Theory for the Bass Player is an excellent resource for anyone at any level who wants to improve as a bass player. It is thoughtful, informative, engaging and inspiring.

My understanding of bass playing fundamentals and theory has grown exponentially because of this resource offered by Ariane Cap. I’m more confident in my playing and enjoying my journey as a developing bass player.

Simply put, for me I liken it to transitioning from simply reading “See spot run” to reciting lines of Shakespeare.

Thanks Ariane for sharing such a wonderful book.
